An interesting wee find I thought I’d share, this book went for £50, now I know it’s a bit shabby but it is almost 400 years old!! The history behind the book is interesting, the Author W.Udal was arrested for writing seditious material about Queen Elizabeth of England..she wasn’t happy about this book…..he was a Puritan ,Minister and condemned to Death for this!..
James the VI of Scotland asked for a reprieve as the Books about his mother……a Pardon was made out for W.Udal…..but he was already dead in Prison.
