I got sent The Legend of Mulan script last night. I’m not particularly a fan of these Disney live-action retellings, but I’m hoping this one’s good!
Good news: they don’t introduce a European until pg. 7!
Guys, I don’t want to alarm anyone, but I’m pretty sure they’re setting this up for Mulan to fall in love with the European guy.
So, the European is starting to wonder if he’s attracted to a guy (aka. Mulan in disguise). She’s definitely feeling it too.
I am 100% not joking when I tell you that Mulan is currently entranced by his rippling muscles.
The European guy threw Mulan against a wall, angrily told her about his dead wife & child, & now Mulan’s horrified by her urge to kiss him.
I’m so sorry, guys, but the last lines of the script are of the two of them kissing.
