In addition to attending UCLA, I’ve been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship! It is “one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world” and I’m thrilled to represent my country as a Fulbright Scholar these next two years!
The Fulbright Program awards $50,000 to help students study in different countries, and I am so ecstatic to tell you guys that I’ve been awarded one of their scholarships. I grew up knowing writers like Sylvia Plath had been Fulbright Scholars, so it was always a dream of mine to achieve this.
I’ve had to keep quiet about it for so long but I can finally tell people!
