Film Review: Hugh Jackman in ‘The Greatest Showman’
Do not let this one go by. It’s the real future. It’s beautiful and fake and glorious, it’s a Broadway musical for the matinee price of $12, and I’ve seen the like for $150.
I watched this in a theater with girls who obviously dragged their dads there to see Zendaya, and they loved it. We all clapped at the end. It’s perfect, and we owe our $12 to Hugh, who took his Marvel leverage and pushed this through for seven years and never gave up. Also, he can dance and looks great in a tux. I have to be real, so does Zac Efron.
It’s just gorgeous. It’s for the theater, not Netflix. Go see it with a bunch of girls. It’s the real future. Musicals are back.
