Writers always talk about how they had to get ten or so bad scripts out of their systems before their work started getting good, and I so feel that. Honestly, I kind of still think I’m still in that bad/average phase. But the important thing is, I’m getting better. Looking between the first script I ever wrote (total trash) and the one I’m working on now, you wouldn’t think they were written by the same person. And that’s encouraging!
