If you really do think there are only these two options, and at least three of each express interest in your protag in the first twenty pages, you have a SERIOUS PROBLEM.
Come on, guys. And you are guys, because women don’t write these scripts…you are shooting yourself in the face with this.
You undermine your story by being so egregiously unaware of how creepy it is to create a world where the women froth at the mouth to strip down for you.
The first thing you do to make friends with the reader is establish trust that you know what you’re doing. This Playboy mansion vision of your story world only establishes very creepy things about you.
Pro tip: All the readers I know are women. Most of them are young. Scripts like this skeeve them out. Don’t skeeve out the readers.
