I wrestle with this constantly. Scripts are so much work because you sort of have to reverse engineer it – instead of cutting straight to the image, you’re adding words to describe the image. It feels like the words get in the middle and jumble everything up. I spend so much of my time trying to untangle and simplify as much as possible – the better to more purely get at the image.
