Channing Godfrey Peoples (American director, directed Miss Juneteenth)
Nikyatu Jusu (American director, no feature films yet but several award winning/viral shorts including Suicide by Sunlight about Black vampires)
Radha Blank (American playwright turned director who wrote/directed/stars in the upcoming film 40 Year Old Version about a woman who decides to become a rapper at 40)
Mariama Diallo (American director who directed the short horror film Hair Wolf and was in the process of directing her first feature film when covid 19 shut everything down)
Liesl Tommy (South African theatre director whose debut feature film is the upcoming biopic on Aretha Franklin, Respect)
Garrett Bradley (American director focused primarily on documentaries including her upcoming award winning film Time)
Maïmouna Doucouré (French director of the upcoming film Cuties)
Victoria Mahoney (American director of the 2012 film Yelling to the Sky, also lots of TV work)
Numa Perrier (American director of the recently released Jezebel)
